Melayah M. Muhammad a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a Biomedical Science concentration, currently serves as a Engineering Technician with a major Fortune 500 company. She is a dedicated and visionary leader committed to empowering underserved women and youth through leadership and entrepreneurial development. With a background and extensive experience in community outreach with other nonprofit organizations, Melayah brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for equity to The Monique Je’ CEO Foundation. As a board member, she is instrumental in guiding the foundation’s mission to provide essential resources, mentorship, and opportunities, ensuring that every woman has the chance to succeed. Her youth and unwavering dedication to fostering inclusive environments makes her an invaluable asset to the foundation.
Zakiya Moore is a dedicated and compassionate leader with a diverse background in law enforcement, nonprofit work, and security. As a former police officer, Zakiya has a deep understanding of community dynamics and a strong commitment to public service. Currently working as a security officer for a major city and a devoted mother of three, she balances her professional responsibilities with her passion for volunteering. As a board member of The Monique Je’ CEO Foundation, Zakiya leverages her unique experiences and unwavering dedication to empower underserved women, providing them with the resources and support needed to achieve their full potential.
Keisha D. Hunter is the owner and managing director of The Hunter Legacy Group LLC, bringing over 26 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, and event production. Keisha designed the Monique Je, Code Pink and other websites in the Monique Je CEO conglomerate of companies. She helps with marketing and fundraising events for the organizations.
She has held key positions at companies such as Verizon and Autotrader and has successfully managed entrepreneurial ventures like Bizybuilder.com and One Face Entertainment. The Hunter Legacy Group offers a range of services, including marketing consultation, event production, and the Senior Citizen Social Interaction Initiative. The company aims to positively impact businesses and enhance the well-being of the senior citizen population.
Keisha believes in the power of hands-on, in-person interactions in today’s digital world. Outside of business, she is also a professional singer, songwriter, and rapper known as Mokah Soulfly.
